Horse Riding with lunch "Asado"

4 to 5 hours by horse

Horse riding, with lunch "asado" in furnace typical barbecue in the middle of the mountains Include , "mate" and "tortitas cuyanas"

The mountain's majesty, the impact of Mendoza River on its side, the typical vegetation and the special microclimate.
It is possible to walk across and enter into the mountain, discover the heart of the Andean foothills, or cover beautiful paths on horseback.

Itinerary:

We pick you up from the hotel between 9 and 9:30 am.
Transport to the ranch by private vehicle. Saddled horses are waiting there for us, ready to leave towards the Andean paths.

We ride 3 hours approximately, among gullies and hills, then we arrive at a picturesque "mountain post".

The host of the ranch, is waiting for us with a charcoal-grilled "asado", with fresh salads and with full wineglasses to drink a toast with our best wines.

We come back to Mendoza City between 4 and 5 in the evening.

"Asado":

"Asado" is cuts of meat, usually beef, which are cooked on a grill (parrilla) or open fire.
"Asado" is quite popular in the Pampa region of South America, and it is the traditional dish of Argentina.
Sometimes these are served on a coal-heated "brasero". Then "costillas" or "asado de tira" (ribs) are served. Next comes "vacío" (flank steak), "matambre" and possibly chicken and "chivito" (baby goat). An "asado" also includes bread, a simple mixed salad of, for instance, lettuce, tomato and onions. Wine, water and other beverages are common. Dessert is usually fresh fruit.
